Customer Service - Primary
My Account --> Site Builder --> Settings Module --> Customer Service
You will define your primary "Contact Us" page here. The three sections are:
- Default Settings
- Available Fields
- Required Fields
Default Settings
The Default Settings tab enables you to direct emails to specific recipients, add relevant content (via Portlets), style that content and enable security features.
- Customer Service Email - Defaults to the Site Owner's email address that was established when the account was created. You may change the email or add additional emails by separating each with a comma. E.g., jane@yourdomain.com,joe@yourdomain.com. This format for multiple emails applies to all email fields in the Customer Service module.
- Customer Service BCC Emails - Initially blank. You may define as many email recipients as you choose.
- Customer Service Header Portlet - Defaults to "None". Portlet must be predefined before you can select it. Once the portlet is defined you can select it from the drop-down menu. Content will appear at the top of the content area.
- Contact Information Portlet - Defaults to "None". Content will appear below the Customer Service Header Portlet unless repositioned using the Contact Information Alignment field below.
- Contact Information 'Thank You' Text - Defaults to "None". Even though it is not specified, this is also a portlet. The 'Thank You' text will appear on a separate page after the "Submit" button has been selected.
- Contact Information Alignment - Defaults to "Top". You may position this content at the Top, Right, Bottom or Left within the content area. Updating this field may change the placement of certain elements, or may restrict the area available for the Customer Service form.
- Enable CAPTCHA - Defaults to "No". CAPTCHA stand for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart". It is an excellent means of ensuring that your Customer Service forms are filled out by humans and not automated systems.
- Customer Service Template - Defaults to "None". This drop-down list references all templates defined for the site.
